In the future we’ll all be driving hover cars and eating food from a tube. Oh and leaving the robot vacuum cleaner going while we’re at work… sure. Probably one of the least important uses of a product designer’s time was coming up with this modern day ‘time saving’ device. I guess the idea was to avoid doing menial work like cleaning one’s home so one could pursue more important tasks like, say, going to the gym to keep fit due to one’s largely sedentary lifestyle. Is that what they call extreme irony?
Great for slate, good for wood, a drag on shag … now if it was self emptying?
Great idea but lacking in the execution. All the fancy bits work really well. It just can’t pick up dirt very well.
